When should I apply sunscreen?

When it comes to sunscreen, follow the 20-Minute Rule to avoid getting burned:

Always apply your sunscreen at least 20 minutes before you head outside so it has time to become effective!

To keep your sunscreen effective, regular reapplication is key.

Here’s Dr. Greg’s advice for how often you need to slather (or spray) on a new coat of sunscreen—even if it’s cloudy out!

Do you have a history of sunburns?

We recommend coming in for an annual skin check. This ensures we stay on top of any suspicious spots that have potential to develop into skin cancer.
